Programs We Offer

Before/After School and Summer Experience (BASE) – includes homework assistance, tutoring, computer-aided lessons and reading programs. The momentum for learning continues during the summer recess.

Building Bridges to the Future – is a summer program for teens. Participants receive reading and language skills assistance in addition to career path counseling. Community service is also compulsory.

Building Alternatives to Drugs (BAD) – substance abuse prevention program for youth ages 5-8

Cultural Arts and Physical Education (CAPE) – multidisciplinary program introduces weekly cultural experiences as well as importance of sportsmanship, self-discipline and community service.

Delinquency Prevention Program – empowers at-risk youth with character development, social and leadership skills, self awareness about hazards and consequences of substance abuse and provides tools for stronger, healthier family dynamics

Hispanic/Haitian Outreach – language and literacy for youth ages 4-17 and their families where English is a second language

Peer Empowerment Programs (PEP) – comprehensive prevention and intervention program for at-risk youth ages 9-17. Topics include teen pregnancy prevention, crime prevention, self-esteem, social etiquette and good decision-making skills as well as career development.

Sports Programs – including Pop Warner football & cheerleading, AAU basketball, track & field as well as MLB/RBI baseball
