MANATEE MUSTANGS CHEERLEADING

Here at the United Community Center, we are incredibly proud of all of the unique work we do for the community. But one our favorite programs is our Manatee Mustangs Cheerleading program available for boys and girls ages 3-18 (high school). Throughout our history, our competitive cheerleading program has positively influenced the lives of thousands of children in our community.

On our Manatee Mustangs cheer teams, young girls of all age and all skill level are encouraged to achieve and succeed. Our cheerleading teams offer young athletes the opportunity for positive, healthy, wholesome fun.

Young athletes can participate in things like tumbling classes, cheerleading dance, and/or competitive cheerleading (aka competitive cheer). All of Manatee Mustangs’ cheer teams are made possible through the diligent leadership of our coaches.

These attentive, highly vetted individuals make it their mission to serve the youngest members of our community. Skilled in gymnastics training, they are prepared to teach any cheerleading program at any difficulty level, from beginner to advanced. What’s more, these coaches help children in more than just an athletic training capacity.

At the UCC, these coaches want to be there for the children of this community in whatever capacity kids may need. Since UCC is a safe place for children, the moral character of our coaches reflects this standard. These coaches serve as healthy role models for children, and they are equipped to offer guidance when needed (e.g. issues like substance abuse, crime prevention, and many other things).

As strong examples of positive community leaders, these dynamic individuals offer healthy, responsible advice to at risk children in our community. With the guidance of expert coaches, young athletes in our cheer program are able to strive for a shared goal. By working together in this way, children experience the value of team work while learning about themselves and others. Moreover, this program for kids is an opportunity for children to develop healthy friendships in a wholesome environment.
